Driving & Musings

Aloha! It's been 2 weeks since the last post. Think I'm on my way to becoming a social blogger.
Anyway, the biggest news currently is...Earthquake! Thank goodness that there is no earthquake in Singapore; though I feel slight tremors in my room. Can't imagine how scary it is for the people actually experiencing the earthquakes and other natural disasters. Besides feeling my chair shaking, the water in the aquarium is also shaking and I felt the aftershock[or is it another earthquake?] the very next day.
Earthquake not withstanding; my life has been pretty mundane lately. Have slightly more time to rest and to catch up with friends because assignments are pretty manageable.
On the 25th of September,I had lunch and dinner outside. Lunch was at Plaza Sing with an old schoolmate. We didn't see each other since our Os and she took the initiative to invite me out for lunch because of our aborted JB trip. Hope we can do more lunches in the future even though we might need to work around our timing! In the evening, I went out with my gang for dinner. I hated squeezing in the train though because it was the night of the F1 race. Upon reaching Hanis cafe at Bugis however, I enjoyed the night save for the vroomin of the F1 race and a major headache that lasted for about 3hrs. Urgh!!
As for my driving; I'm proud to say that I've cleared my crank course& S course. It took me a grand total of 6 lessoNs to clear the lesson. Oh well what can I say? Therefore I'm quite disappointed with my directional change as I did not clear it within 3 lessons. Looking back, though it is definitely easier than the S coruse and C course; I only manage to do it twice perfectly. Hope I don't mess up today's lesson so I can start on my parallel parking by today; if not the latest on my next lesson.=D
Footnote: Going back to my studies! Though I might be able to create excuses for myself for not doing well[who am I trying to kid?] I'm thankful that my mom have instilled in me discipline and methods of coping with time management. I remember that when I was young, my mom used to seat with us as we complete our homework and would only allow us to play/watch tv when we finish our task. Therefore I find it strange when one of my friends ask me if it's hard to complete my homework or to manage my time well due to my condition. However; I have to admit that even though I plan out my daily/weekly schedule sometimes, I would more often than not do whatever I feel like doing instead of sticking to it. Therefore, I would like to leave with this question: Should I use this blog to document, advocate and share with the world my trials& tribulations; triumphs and joy? Or should I open another blog to deal with this current obstacles? Or should I keep it under lock& key or better still, password protected? In any case; I'd wait for the RESULTS to come up before making my decisions.
CiaO!
