The holidays. [Part 1]
Sunday, July 5, 2009
Wow. One week of my hol passed by just like that.[snap fingers] all in all, save for that dismissal Thursday, i had a fruitful sat! Just to recap the whole week....
On tues night, i had dinner with my juniors and we reminisced about our time 2gether.....remember those star jumps? Though i believe that food was one of our biggest issue. I mean they expect us to finish everything on our plate, and they have no qualms about it. Can’t finish the food on time? Cont’d eating until it’s empty. Activities ain’t that important as not finishing the food. Therefore, though our tummies were small, we still have to force ourselves to finish the food--- and the training during camps did not manage to change my picky eating habits. Though food was one of the issues that we had, we can’t deny the camaraderie we shared....especially during drill and times of funs & games.
On wed night, we had dinner at choa chu kang [the park]. It was my bro’s farewell dinner from my parents good friend and we enjoyed ourselves. On thurs, i receive my assignment results. Though i wanna puke upon seeing my result, i will keep on fighting because i know that god will make a way for me. Hadn’t he made the impossible possible?
On fri after attending class, i went for lunch with anna, chi and rose at dhoby gaut pizza hut. Though the food was delicious, i did not know what’s wrong with me as i was feeling hungry even though i finish my meal. Ridiculous right?
Anyway, on sat my bro, dad and i went to imm long beach restaurant for lunch. They are having a special promotion deal and thus we ordered the special. It is a 1for 1 deal that cost $39.40. it consist of : an entree, fish maw soup, shell fish[taste a lil rubbery], lobster[i’m a sucker for lobster!], claypot rice in a sort of yellow sauce topped with egg white and wolfberries. Lastly, dessert was a bowl of fruits.
Went for service in the afternoon and dinner after that at suntec. and i had some good news to share...one of my friends got saved! Plus i saw one of my ex-classmate over there.... this is the 2nd time i saw her outside our gatherings, hehe.
And now....it’s Sunday. Hopefully we’d have lunch at bukit indah later as my bro won’t be around anymore from 2mrw onwards... and later on i have to pack my luggage as i would be moving to cck for a few days...let’s hope i won’t go back home subconsciously! Though i’m a lil nervous staying at cck, i believe that it’d be ok.... cos they’d be for one, home-cook meals.
2] they’d be children in the house in the afternoon... it’d make the time bearable and more entertaining. Well, let’s hope that we can get along with them!
Btw this is not the first time i’ve been staying in somebody’s house. The 1st time i stayed with them was when i was in primary school. And if memory serve me correctly, i stayed at my distant relatives place on 2 occasions.....
So ciao!
