Gosh... time fly so fast. I wish I could revert back to the past but guess we have to look forward to the future. Anyway what did I do this week?
Monday...1st lesson after a looong break. And the lecturer dropped us 2 bomb shells: We have a test the next lesson! On supposedly the whole syllabus! So please help me, but the test is 45 min long instead of the usual 30min. Wonder what would he be testing us on. The 2nd bomb that we had is that there will be a presentation on 27thJul. Luckily that was scrapped if not we would be literally be breathing down our necks this semester.
Tuesday, we had our new lecturer who flew all the way from Australia. The 1st question that pop out from his mouth? Do you like to kill children? How do you feel about killing? But don’t worry folks, he’s not turning us into a murderer. He’s introducing us to this sub-module called media and ethics. And.... guess what? For this topic we do not need to do the tutorial paper too! We just need to concentrate on our mini presentation and major essay. Hurrah.
I went for my driving lesson in the evening... Love the patient instructor who knew how to teach. But I was a lil insulted really, cos he asked me whether I’m a local. And its based on the fact that my Chinese is non-existent!
Thursday is my so-called ‘off day’. As there was no class, I tried to get things done but only manage a pathetic percentage... because I was still looking for information for my media structure project. Intended to go to the library but...it didn’t turn out.
Friday is the day that I had the most blast. After the media structure lesson, I went down to city hall to meet Daphne for our movie outing....Harry Potter and the half-blood prince. 1st we had lunch at Xin Wang Taiwan cafe[was too full to try the dessert, will d so the next time] before walking to plaza SinG to catch the movie. It was a blast! An adventure from the beginning to the end, it was worth it....Can’t wait for the rewind on sun movie night!
Btw there’s so many nice movies coming out. I can’t wait to watch them up. Next up will be where got ghost? A campy Jack Neo movie. Actually on 7August, for the price of $25-30 I think there’d be a special package.. a night tour at Bukit Brown cemetery be4 watching the movie at the 11pm timeslot at GV. Ya I can turn up for the event but how am I suppose to go home? There’s no more public transport by then and taxi’s pretty expensive. Some other shows that I hope to catch are: Murder she wrote and the New horror movie that’s coming out on Sep 23...So whoever have the same interest as me, pls book me!!!!!!! All are welcome.
So[ back to the topic] after the movie, I went off for my driving lesson. And I learn the Hand over hand technique.... hopefully I’d clear stage 1.4 on mon. And get to move the gears.
Footnote. My parents will be fetching my aunt from Pontian 2night... goodness me I can’t follow them. Hopefully would be able to when they send her in.....
So cya folks! Am off to watch the docu Find Me A SingaporeaN. Pretty nice show I should say.
