Hey Hey...The week is almost over. What have I been doing throughout the week?
Trying very hard to accomplish my thesis but to no avail. Trust me, I avoided going out with my relatives when they came over to Singapore but to no avail.. in the end only complete one section of my assignment. And made a lot of notes on the other section cos I wasn’t sure how to categorize them. Anyway what did my aunty and uncle do on this trip?
They arrived in Sg at 7pm on fri. A far cry from my bus journey, which reach the Woodland checkpoint at 4.30pm. On sat, they went to the Suntec Exhibition to source books for the secondary school students before heading to NewYork New York for dinner. On sun, they attended service at the Rock in the afternoon. On Mon, one of our distant relatives brought them out for lunch at Dover. Heard that there was a Jap place at Dover. Anyone interested to have a look at the place? In the evening before their bus ride back to M’sia, we went out to Cyrstal Jade la Mian. And xiao long baos! It’s thanks to Aunty V that we get to eat a $1 baby lobster noodle. Ok la, it didn’t exactly cost $1, but its a very gd marketing gimmick becos one must spend $50 and above be4 ordering a bowl.
On Tues, I went to Sentosa. The last time I went there was in Feb14I think. Was chilling there overnite[we took the 12midnight train] before heading to JB on 16Feb. At Sentosa, we played several exciting games. Though it was lots of fun, I couldn’t join them for long because my toe had a small wound. However, one of the games that we played was quite disgusting to me. Now I know why I don’t eat tomato..the smell itself is overpowering! Cos in one of the section, we need to use ketchup to smear over each other’s face and the games master will approve/disapprove the decos. Though I don’t mind playing with food, I might draw the line at tomatoes in the future. The smell is really very powering! I also felt like vomiting most of the time until they give us the all clear to wash our face.
On Wednesday morning, I woke up early to attend class. After sch, I followed Nat back to Serangoon[seriously, I dunno what possess me to do that] be4 going back to St Hilda’s primary school for the campfire. After the campfire, we made our way home.
Thurs. I did the househould chores as my mom and brother are in Australia. And for dinner I created a master piece ala Cameron Highland style. This is what I prepare for dinner:Fried egg with bell pepper with cheese. As for 2mrw, I won’t be preparing dinner. Eating out instead...with the infamous 8. Though we had a mini gathering in March, almost everyone turning up 2mrw after 1 year plus. Actually I was feeling honoured though, cos I was actually invited to go out with 2different groups of people. After much deliberatin, I decided to go out with this group cos we seldom meet up.
Footnote. Doesn’t it seem unfair that not everybody have a June holiday? Not only is this break unapplicable to me, I still need to submit various assignments![faint]

And lastly GSS! Hmm. Though I don’r really have time to wander looking for the best bargains/go shopping, I more or less have in mind what I would like to buy. The only thing that’s stopping me from buying its time.....and $$. Therefore my aim is to buy at least 2items from the GSS...Even if I have to go all the way to Tamp.[Ok I’m talking nonsense] Ciao! Off to bed now...otherwise Dr P will start being concern when students start sleeping in her class.
