Countdown to the Wedding: 3 weeks left!

No class today. And the program executive didn't inform us. Why?! Anyway it is 3 weeks to the Big Day. And one week more to Forensic Hero.. been waiting to watch this show! But sadly, might be missing 10 episodes. Thinking if I should come back to S'pore earlier.
Wondering how's the wedding prep going on. The bride and groom's feeling the heat.. well I'm stressed out here in S'pore trying to finish up all my assignments. Sheesh. Anyway was bored so just did a headcount . Of those who'd be attending the wedding. On the groom side only cos I don't know the bride. Though I did meet her before. So here goes : FAMILY[ INCLUDING EXTENDED RELATIVES] From Singapore: Mty whole family[duh] and distant relatives. On my grandfather's side, the aunty produce 3 children, and all of them are married and have their own kids. The only family that will be accompanying the aunty is his son's. They have 3 lovable kid. A son, whose name was Jonathan. The parents changed it to 'Jon-Jon' instead. Cute huh? Kate, their daughter is a lovely child model. Therefore, 10 people are confirmed coming down from Singapore. Oh and there's one more-- the Neil road uncle . Wonder if they'd come down for the wedding. And allow me to add in a little secret. His daughter was often spotted in the news. On channel 5 and channel news asia. However, not sure whether channel 8 or channel U did feature her. Cos she'd advise people on the banking stuff, and I don't really watch news. Now the people from M'sia. The neighbours who happen to be our relatives. My grandfather's brother and his wife has 3 children. 2 of whom are married and live in Johor. One with a lil' princess who's the perfect toothpaste advertisement Darling. And the other aunt. let's just say that I was afraid of her when I was younger. Dunno why. Mb she always act fierce? So for that branch of the family, 11 people will be attending the wedding. Now for my GRANDMOTHER'S SIDE of the family: We have 3 families living in the same state, Perak[obviously]. One which my parents doesn't like cos the head of that household is a person who loves to brag about their children's achievement. The other, has a daughter who married a guy younger than him. Ya, it's a shot-gun marriage; and the guy's family rich. One funny incident that happened during their wedding dinner was that my uncle discovered to his horror that one of his student would be his relative-- cos she's the guy's youngest sister. Think my uncle had an uncomfortable time at that dinner. As for the last family, they stay in Lumut and operated a shop there. So the estimated guests from these branch of the family will be 30?[ That's the maximum I think]. Plus various friends and relatives. Including my father's side of the family. Prob about 8 of them will turn out. Oh yes! And I've forgotten to INCLUDE my own immediate relatives. Muahaha. Let's see, I've 2 aunts and uncles, out of which 2 have a family of their own. So total no of attendees on the immediate family side will be 10. So my total Estimated Guess is: 10 plus 11 plus 30 plus 8plus 10 plus [throw in another 30 for close friends and relatives, though my uncle had to 'sacrifice' some friends]. Ans=99 PS: Don't think will be counting the bride side. After all, am not familiar with them and don't want to confuse friends with family members. On a serious note, I HOPE that I will not see any of my ex-classmates. Cos a few of them were from my grandparents' place! Will tell u guys a funny story about how my father met his ex-classmate another day . Don't wanna stress u guys with to much Information. BYE! AND: Will be playing the Piano in front of Strangers! Being the girl from S'pore.[Well, my M'sia citizenship will be given up on Nov10. Otherwise I cannot get my Passport done. Oh well the trouble of reaching the M'sia embassy before 7am. GrrrH. |
