Gd Scott! Everybody's saying the same thing. If one has the chance to leave S'pore, they should do so at the immediate opportunity. However, I'm not sure if this same sentiments is shared by most S'poreans. Anyway I'd a great day last nite! After much delays, I manage to meet up with a gd friend of mine-- DEBBIE! Hadn't seen her in ages. Ever since she changed school to study in NAFA. Should have stayed back at PSB, then we can form a threesome! For she was to be my friend in the Bach of communication degree module, but alas! She can't cope with her studies Plus her heart is in NAFA. Oh well, if she had studied a little harder for her English, sch will be enjoyable every single day! Anyway school's life getting busier. At the end of Nov, I need to submit 3 essays so yes I will start on them. And next wk have to finish the web proposal-- have to clear up a lil' mess that i created, post some pics and I'm done! Hope web publishing will be easier for me-- though it looks like I've to struggle with that subject. And talking about Australia, did u noe that their exchange rate is now 1:1? Made me reminicise about the holiday that I've had in Perth. This was what happen on the 7day,6nite trip.. The trip is on wed, after my exams the day before. People on the trip: My whole family, uncle and aunty. In the morning, we hired a merce taxi to ferry us to Changi Airport where we met our tour group. Upon reaching Perth in the afternoon, we toured the city and had dinner at KFC.[yup i still rem the details] At nite, we retired back to our hotel room while my parents went around visiting their friends in Perth. PS. The hotel rooms were so cool-- they had the Reader's digest Volume stories![ which was the 4 bks in 1 kind. You will only noe what i mean if u subcribe to reader's digest]. On the 2nd day, we travelled SouthWest. After visiting the underground salt caves, we ventured out to the tree top walk. Said to be the highest in Australia, it stood at 250m above ground. On the 3rd day, we travelled further and went for our farm stay. In the evening after dinner, we were driven around the place and brought to a fantastic spot where we can view the stars-- I'd never forget that nite. The view was spectacular! On the 4th day, we travelled to Albany where we were to stay one nite. Be4 that, we visited the whaling exhibition and was taken to the Botanical Garden. It was more of a scenery day. On the 5th day, which is a Sunday, we went to the Fremantle market before heading back to Perth. It was wonderful! I was abit jealous, because they were selling bright, juicy strawberries for just $1! Its a pity that we didn't buy the strawberries, for I was the only one who really enjoy them.Oh well, I had tremendous fun picking and eating strawberries at Cameron Highland when I was in sec 3 at a actual[note: not commercialise farm]. On monday, it was a free and easy day. We followed another tour group to visit the Pinnacles, a sandy dessert in Australia. Where we get to try our hand at sand-boarding and go 'riding' around the sanddunes. On our last day, we reached S'pore at 12midnite. And S'pore was just to small for comfort... my bro and I saw Our Secondary School teacher with his wife! And Mr LJK didn't recognize us even though we passed each other like 3/4 times be4 we head home.
